The vision is simple but powerful:

Each member donates $1,000 annually (plus $100 to help cover administration costs). Together, we’ll review proposals from local for-purpose organisations working to support women and families across Christchurch, Selwyn, and Waimakariri, and award a transformational grant every year.

We’re building on a global movement:
Impact100 began in the U.S. and now includes 70+ chapters worldwide, collectively donating over US$160 million. Here in Aotearoa, Impact100 Wakatipu has already granted over NZ$1 million since launching in 2020.

How does it work?

1. Local registered charities aligned with our mission will be invited to apply.

2. Members will assess proposals through a collaborative and transparent process.

3. Finalists will pitch to the full group.

4. Members vote to decide who receives the major grant.

Along the way, members have the opportunity to learn, connect, and deepen their understanding of local community needs.
